About Volk

Volk is a social network for people who want to say what they think, build things together, and talk to each other directly — without the algorithmic noise.

What we believe

• Your feed is yours. You see posts from the people you follow, newest first. No engagement-bait ranking deciding what you're allowed to notice.
• People over platforms. We don't sell your data and we don't run tracking ads. The product is the community, not you.
• Speak freely, act decently. Argue, disagree, make your case. Just don't threaten, exploit or harass people. Our Community Guidelines are short and plain on purpose.
• Safe by default. Every photo and video is checked before it goes live, and there is zero tolerance for anything that harms children.

What you can do on Volk

• Post text, photos, videos, audio, polls and GIFs, and join the conversation in comments.
• Share stories that disappear after 24 hours.
• Go live and talk with your audience in real time.
• Message people one-on-one or in groups.
• Buy and sell in the marketplace and find or post jobs.
• Install Volk on your phone's home screen and get notifications, no app store required.
